This is a Railfan website but you'll find much more here than just railfan videos. I also make instructional "Do it Yourself' videos and other videos such as music if I happen to come across a good band playing. I will also include nature videos if I find myself in a nice scenic area and sometimes the occasional review of a product among other things.... As I said in the title...It's Not Just Trains. Enjoy - RailFan Rob Mosley

My Review of the Blackberry Priv
Ok it's been roughly a month since I got the new Blackberry PRIV with Android so I think it's time for a review.
I'm going to start by saying that originally when I went to the Verizon store my original plan was to get the Samsung Galaxy S7. I had an S5 previously and liked it a lot. It never skipped a beat. I actually had the S7 in my hand and noticed a phone over in the corner of the Verizon store. I asked the salesperson what it was. He said that's the new Blackberry with Android. I was like what? I thought Blackberry was a memory! I went over and checked it thoroughly and realized this was my next phone. What really caught my attention was the fact that it still had a mechanical keyboard which I found by accident as I was handling the store display model...very cool!
So like I said here we are a month later and I have nothing but positive things to say. It performs very well. Smooth transition between screens. The apps start up very quickly. The camera is absolutely awesome with its Schneider KREUZNACH 18 Megapixel Lens. It takes awesome videos with amazing sound even when playing back on a larger stereo with surround sound. It even has wireless QI charging but I wouldn't recommend leaving it on a wireless charger all night because those chargers seem to stay very warm even when the device is fully charged. Remember heat kills batteries. BTW the mechanical keyboard which seems to be a Blackberry trademark is awesome and is much quicker to type with than the software keyboard. One more thing. It can support SD cards up to 1 Terabyte in size!! How awesome is that?
The Bottom Line? Check it out! Blackberry is Back and I think they will only get bigger going forward. This is a great phone and I definitely recommend it.

My Review of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (Sword of Destiny)
I'm going to start off by saying that this movie got a really bad rap on Rotten Tomatoes but don't let that stop you from watching it. I personally thought it was good while maybe not as good as the first one it is worthy. If you like martial arts movies especially the kind with immortal characters that can seemingly float on air and do other crazy things I think you'll enjoy this flick. Check it out and let me know what you think... RAM

My review of the final episode of the X-Files (season 10 2016). My Struggle part 2...
My Struggle part 2
So what did you think of the season finale of the X-Files season 10? Did it at least conclude the alien conspiracy for you or did it leave it open to conjecture? Do you think they will continue the series at some point or are we left to use our own mind to decide how it ended for good? Did you think the alien craft came to blow up Scully and Mulder the same way it did that woman (the actress From The Americans, Annet Mahendru) in the first episode? These are some of the questions I'm asking myself so now I'm passing them on to you. What questions do you have about this finale? As a whole did you enjoy season ten or could you take it or leave it? I personally enjoyed it and hope they will return with more,,,maybe a movie. Wishful thinking I guess...what are your thoughts?

Grimm
I'm a late bloomer when it comes to this show. I have to say that I'm hooked. I gave it a chance and Grimm turned out to be a pretty cool show. I'm even thinking about downloading the Original Brothers Grimm tales on audio book. Give it a chance, I think you'll like it...

My Review Of The Movie Fargo....
Fargo (The Movie)
Ok I seem to be a late bloomer on this particular movie because it came out in 1996 and I just saw it yesterday. What sparked my interest in this movie was seeing season one of the series Fargo in January when I went to visit my son in Florida. I got hooked on it and finished the entire season before I left to go home a week later. So here we are and now I'm going to give you my review of the movie.....
It was a great movie indeed but be aware this is not for children as it is very violent. If you are into violence/suspense/thriller then this movie is for you. My advice is if you haven't seen the series yet make sure you watch the movie first as it ties right in to the series.Check it out....RAM

The X-Files was awesome tonight!!! Mulder and Scully tack down a Monster...LOL
What a cool episode! It was actually quite humorous. They did this same thing back in the original series. Every once in a while they would make a less serious episode just to give the fans a little something different and this episode takes you back to that. If you didn't see the episode make sure to visit the X-Files website and watch it! You'll laugh...I know I did!!!

Turned out to be pretty nice day here in Wilkes Barre...
Who would have thought we'd be in low 50's here today in Wilkes Barre? Still a little bit of snow left. I'll be satisfied once it's all gone. This shot was taken at Wegmans....

Just saw the movie Interstellar
Just saw the movie Interstellar. I really liked Matthew McConaughey in The Lincoln Lawyer but not so much in this movie. In fact I was very surprised at the rating this movie got on IMDB. I thought is was very unrealistic and too many scenes were far fetched. Also I wasn't entirely impressed by the acting either. Maybe it's me, maybe this just isn't my type of movie but I am into space and science. I think it may have been how unrealistic it was...anyway don't only take my word for it. Watch it and let me know in the comments what you thought of it. Out of ten stars which is the scale IMDB uses, I give it a 5....
